REFUGE premiered at DOC NYC in 2021 and was awarded Special Mention in the U.S. Competition. REFUGE is a feature-length documentary that follows a leader in a white nationalist hate group who finds healing from the people he once hated - a Muslim heart doctor and his town of refugees. Chris is a husband and father, a veteran, and until recently, a leader in the KKK. He started hating Muslims when the planes hit the twin towers but is forced to confront his hate when he receives a text from Muslim refugee, Heval. REFUGE illustrates the roots of hate, its devastating impacts, and ultimately how it can be overcome.

Like most American teenagers, Bawi Par is in search of identity and self-worth, but unlike her peers, she has waded through quick sand and has had to drink from mud puddles in order to survive. A refugee from Myanmar and building a new life in America, Bawi’s life is marked by rejection and sacrifice - she was discarded by her home country as a child and watches her parents sacrifice their future for hers. Worthy follows Bawi through her senior year of high school as she works to get a college scholarship and graduate at the top of her class. Will she achieve her ambitious academic goals, and will they provide her with the sense of enoughness that she longs for?

Love, Your Birth Mom (working title) is a feature length documentary in Production that follows several women with unplanned pregnancies who are considering adoption. Each will ultimately decide whether to raise their child or place them into the arms of another family. Our goal is to illustrate the complex experience that a pregnant woman goes through when considering whether she has the support, resources, or ability to raise her child. In doing so, we will grapple with the systemic forces that have left so many vulnerable pregnant women in an unthinkable position - considering what if the best thing she can do for her child is to let them go?
